I’m on a mission to make the most of the time I spend at my desk
I love technology and the freedom it provides us for flexible working/remote work/ telecommuting/working from anywhere or finding a dream job at a company you love…but if there’s one downside to the ability to work from home it’s this: It’s SO easy to get in The Zone and become tethered to your desk.

I’ve logged a LOT of hours sitting at my desk…and learned that when you have work location flexibility, it’s easy to let work be your primary focus because your job is always accessible. But that can also make it really easy to get so focused on work that mind, body, and spirit well-being get neglected.
There isn’t a one-size-fits all solution to this for everyone. (Believe me–I’ve tried enough programs and plans that worked great for someone else.)
So what helps me feel good may not resonate with you. But I have logged a lot of time experimenting–and experiencing successes and failures that might help someone else save time (or $$$) in their journey.
My hope is that you’ll find nuggets here that will either work for you or help lead you to what will ultimately work for you.
What will ultimately work for you will be as unique as your fingerprint–it may look similar to other fingerprints, but it’s a blend of process, timing, flow and flavor that’s best suited to you and your life.
And the good news is, once you start a journey in search of solutions, the answers you need have a way of finding their way to you…and I’m here to help with ideas along the way!

What works for me may not always work for me…
- Listening to your body and intuition is probably the most important process to master on this journey.
- If you try anything here, please remember to connect with what parts makes sense and feel good to you, and ignore what doesn’t.
- If only 10% of an idea you find here feels good to your body–toss the other 90% without hesitation. Or is 80% of another idea works for you, don’t take the joy out of it by wrestling with the 20% that just doesn’t work for your life or work setup.
- Everybody is different. Don’t feel anxious because what worked for someone else didn’t work for you…and keep experimenting!
